NodalValue#
- class xara.NodalValue(model, node: int, dof: int, value: float = 1.0)#
Impose a displacement value at a node.
Internally this class uses the
spcommand to create a single-point constraint.- Parameters:
- model: xara.Model
The model to which the displacement is applied.
- node: int
Tag of the Node at which to impose the displacement
- dof: int
Degree of freedom at which to impose the displacement
- value: float
Reference value of the imposed displacement. The displacement at each step will be scaled according to the
xara.TimeSeriesassociated with thexara.StaticPatternto which the nodal value is applied.
